This 63-acre park - Hampton National Historic Site - commemorates major phases of American social, cultural, and economic history across three centuries through seven generations of one family, the Ridgelys, and their large and diverse work force. 9/19 at noon: Manly Arts Day:   Although historically identified as “Manly Arts,” all are welcome to learn about and participate in exercises and demonstrations of swordsmanship, boxing, and other of skills which were used by men and women to “come home alive” in the 19th Century.
